Rob taught this lesson, and it was the best one I’ve ever seen on repentance. First he told a story about a child that was invited to a super delicious dinner by his mom and dad. (Rob is a great story teller, but I’ll do my best to convey the gist of it here.) When [...]

First, I am loving this new Toyota Sienna. Very cool, except for the fake wood on the dash. Never been a fan of that…
Next, a commercial that strives to change the stigma of personal injury law:

This is the lesson I used for our latest lesson usingĀ My Gospel Standards. The theme this week was “I Will Choose the Right.”
I found this lesson after a google search and it worked out great. It is called “Making Good Choices: Stairways and Superheroes.” There are several visual printouts that were very helpful in [...]

Sabrina: Don’t you wish you could be me mommy?
Amy: Sometimes. I think it’s so fun to be three.
Sabrina: It’s fun to be a mom too, because it’s your decisions.
Amy: You like to make decisions?

This past year brought our family many fun experiences and memories, but there were also so many changes, ups & downs, and unexpected blows. I have always known that I had a relatively easy life, and was never very driven to study scriptures regularly or insist on daily family prayer. But I recently had an [...]

Hunter started performances for Pageant of the Masters.

March 2009:
Hunter’s grade did a Colonial Day where they spent all day doing things like they were done at the beginning of our country’s history. I worked this station helping the kids with calligraphy.
Here Hunter is putting together a corn husk doll. They also whittled soap, made wooden hand games, did square dancing, quilted, punched [...]

I wanted to recap the year in one post, but since this year was not the best blogging year for me, I think I’ll do it in little condensed issues. So here is our January & February issue:
Hunter, Emma, and Mom all auditioned for Pageant of the Masters in Laguna Beach. Behind the kids are [...]

There’s something magical about Christmas, and every year we take a ton of pictures and video to try and capture it all. We rarely go back and look at the videos again though because it would take hours to get through them. This year Rob decided to put in several hours of work and consolidate [...]
